Renew from within
PRP facial rejuvenation uses your own blood to restore volume and smooth fine lines.

What is PRP?
Your own biology, amplified
Fine lines, loss of elasticity, and subtle volume changes are a natural part of aging. PRP facial rejuvenation works at the source, using growth factors from your own blood to rebuild what time has taken.
Protein Rich Plasma (PRP) is blood plasma drawn from your own body and enriched with platelets. These plasma cells are activated with cytokines and multiple growth factors, which have a natural healing ability. When applied to the face through precise micro-injections, PRP stimulates collagen production and new blood vessel formation, restoring a younger, more radiant appearance without the need for general anesthesia.
Dr. Palladino may use PRP alone or in combination with facial fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm, or with fat grafting, to achieve the most natural-looking results for your unique anatomy. You may recognize PRP by its popular names: the Vampire Lift, Vampire Facelift, or Vampire Facial Filler, all describing the same rejuvenation process.
All treatments carry considerations and individual results will vary. Candidacy, realistic expectations, and the right PRP approach for your face are determined during your personal consultation with Dr. Palladino.
Your options
Four paths to renewal
PRP is a family of techniques rather than one treatment. Dr. Palladino recommends the approach that matches your goals, your skin condition, and how much change you are after.
PRP Facial
Least invasive · quickest recovery
- Light dermabrasion or micro-needling prepares the skin surface
- Topical PRP is applied to stimulate collagen formation
- Results in smoother skin texture
- May be beneficial for those with acne scarring
- Minimal downtime compared to other PRP techniques
PRP Injections
Targeted volume + collagen support
- Used in less dramatic cases of lost facial volume
- Promotes collagen production for a fresher, younger appearance
- Often used in combination with fat grafting for enhanced effect
- Precise placement tailored to your facial anatomy
- Outpatient procedure, no hospital stay required
Fillers Combined with PRP
Volume restoration + growth-factor boost
- PRP blended with fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, or Radiesse
- Combines immediate volume restoration with sustained collagen production
- The mixture is stimulated by growth factors in the patient's own blood
- Ideal for patients wanting both structural support and skin renewal
- Results appear natural and are not detectable to the naked eye
PRP Combined with Fat Grafting
Most complete technique
- Volume replaced with "live" tissue transferred from your own fat stores
- Long-lasting results, since the transferred fat remains in place permanently
- Stem cells transferred from your own fat stores are ready for creation of new cells
- The PRP contains eight different growth factors to increase collagen production and rejuvenate skin
- The most powerful combination available among PRP rejuvenating techniques
The procedure
From a single draw to renewal
PRP is not much different than getting blood drawn. Dr. Palladino takes blood from a vein in your arm, which is then processed in a centrifuge to collect and separate the protein-rich plasma needed for the cosmetic procedure. It only takes a few minutes before the PRP is ready for application.
Most patients experience some swelling following treatment, which resolves within a few weeks. Everyone heals differently, and the degree of swelling varies depending on which PRP technique is used and which areas of the face are treated.
Some patients require several PRP sessions to meet their desired expectations and goals, although a single session can be sufficient for others and will certainly yield a noticeable effect.
PRP applications can be done without the need for general anesthesia and are performed as an outpatient service, with no overnight stay required.

Safety first
Precision craft, informed confidence
PRP carries significantly fewer risks than more complex surgical procedures: no incisions, and for most patients, no general anesthesia. Even so, every aesthetic treatment requires expert technique and careful aftercare.

Very minor risks associated with PRP treatments may include:
- Bumps or lumps in skin at or near injection points
- Minor skin imperfections
- Possibility of infection
- Bruising or swelling
- Temporary skin soreness or numbness
Risks are extremely rare. During your consultation, Dr. Palladino will discuss your full medical history and assess whether PRP is the right option for you.

Common questions
PRP facial rejuvenation, answered
PRP stands for Protein Rich Plasma: blood plasma from your own body that has been enriched with platelets. These plasma cells are activated with cytokines and multiple growth factors, which have a natural healing ability. When applied to the face, PRP stimulates collagen production and new blood vessel formation, restoring volume and improving skin quality from within.
PRP may be a good option if you are noticing fine lines, creases, wrinkles, or early loss of facial volume and prefer a treatment that uses your body's own resources. It is often ideal for patients who want natural-looking results without surgery or general anesthesia. The best way to determine candidacy is through a personal consultation with Dr. Palladino, where he can assess your skin, anatomy, and aesthetic goals.
A PRP facial is the least invasive option, combining light dermabrasion or micro-needling with topical PRP to smooth skin texture. PRP combined with fat grafting is the most complete approach: it restores volume using live tissue from your own body, while the PRP's eight different growth factors accelerate collagen production and skin renewal. Dr. Palladino will recommend the right technique based on your specific concerns and the degree of rejuvenation you are seeking.
PRP applications can be done without the need for general anesthesia and are performed on an outpatient basis. Most patients tolerate the procedure well. Depending on the technique used, a topical numbing cream or local anesthesia may be applied to maximise comfort. Dr. Palladino will discuss what to expect at your consultation.
Most patients experience some swelling following treatment, which resolves within a few weeks. The degree of swelling varies depending on which PRP technique is used and which areas of the face are treated. Recovery is generally shorter than with surgical facial procedures, and most patients return to normal daily activities relatively quickly. Dr. Palladino will provide specific aftercare instructions tailored to your treatment.
Some patients achieve their desired outcome in a single session; others benefit from a series of treatments. The number of sessions required depends on your skin condition, the technique used, and the aesthetic goals you and Dr. Palladino set together during your consultation.
The cost varies depending on the technique chosen, the number of sessions needed, and any additional services involved. A full PRP package could put you in the range of $1,000 to $4,000. Dr. Palladino will review your face, your skin, and your goals during a consultation and provide a personalised estimate based on exactly what is recommended for you.
